Yachtmitzwahs and Dodger Dogs
So... L.A. was pretty great. I got to meet up with an old Canadian friend of mine, ate great food, went to a Yachtmitzwah (!), met even more old Canadian friends by accident on the same yacht, ate more great food, I saw Judd Abatov perform for free behind a comic book store and most importantly I went to a Dodgers game... who ever knows me, knows that it doesn't take much more than a baseball game to make me happy. Simpel minded DomDom.
Other than that I'm all packed up and ready to hit the trail. My pack weighs a ton but it's mostly water and food that makes it heavy so I can't really do anything about it. Can't imagine hauling that thing all the way to Canada. But I might have to just bite through it in the beginning and eventually loose the things that I don’t really need. I'm currently on the train to San Diego where I'll spend the night at a very sweet hiking couples place which I found in Yogis Handbook. They will drop me off on the trail tomorrow morning at 6am. And then it's finally time to walk 4200km. I am nervous.
