No time for big words. Gotta hang out with my bestie. All that matters is that the last week was bomb. The one and only Carmi came out for a visit and she did a hell of a good job keepin' up with me. She did 22 miles on her first day, 17 on the second and 16 on the third. That's a LOT of miles. We ended up in a big storm one night, our tent was blown away, Carmi got like 10 blisters on her feet and despite all that still didn't complain much at all. Sucks to say good bye to her and it's hard to imagine returning to the trail by myself. We spent two nights at "The Coachman" in Tahoe, and it's been a nice and much needed change from all the crappy Motel rooms that I've seen in the past two months. Just staying here has made me feel like a normal person again. There's a shower with unlimited shampoo and conditioner which is what makes me happy these days :) And lotion. Sooooo much lotion!!!
