The Arctic Circle Trail is about 200 km long if you start at Point 660 on the Greenlandic Ice Sheet. That’s exactly what we did, and it was so worth it. Stepping on 4,000-year-old ice does something to you. And Greenland does something to you too. It’s a beautiful and wild place with lots and lots of nothingness. But that’s exactly what I love, so walking the Arctic Trail was a blast. It’s super easy, short, and mostly flat. Nothing too challenging, but with this trail, it was more about seeing something new and exploring Greenland and its funny towns before and after the trail. If you’re planning to hike this little trail, be ready to take on a million mosquitoes and a wet trail. Other than that, it’s easy breezy.
